For Sneaker Sunday you should encourage your team, and your church, to wear their favorite pair of sneakers. The crazier the better! Make this service a casual service, and encorporate some other engaging elements like relay races. The people can show off how great they can run since they are wearing their sneakers!
After service you can host a basketball tournament, or simply have some pick up basket ball games, or even some other sporting activities. For those who are not 'athletically inclined' you can also host a church lunch and serve foods that are popular at sporting events like Hot Dogs, Nachos, etc.
Take lots of photos for the photo board, and make sure to utilize the graphics package we have developed for you! But, most importantly, have fun and connect with your church and visitors!
